The news is out. Tickets for a Kid Rock concert in July in Comerica Park are on sale today. Get your tickets now if you still can.
I expect this to be a hot concert as Lynyrd Skynyrd is the opening band for this concert. The performance takes place in Kid Rock's home town of Detroit on July 17, 2009.
The question that comes to mind is whether Kid Rock has toned down his act. Performances in past years have a history of being raunchy and potentially offensive to some. I personally like his music, but I don't know if I need to experience it live.
If you want to be entertained and hear some good rock music, go to tickets.com or the Comeria box office.
Enjoy the show!

Should Texas Succeed?
How serious is Texas about trying to recede from the union? Like a friend who tells you their considering suicide, it’s probably best to take them seriously, at least until the novelty wears off. Was that analogy intentional?
Excuse me, has anyone ever read “Animal Farm?” Is there any law that says if a state successfully secedes from the union, that a previous U.S. President cannot be elected leader of the new “territory?” I’m guessing that since George W. Bush was such a popular and effective leader of the entire country, being a native Texan, that he would be at the top of the list of nominees.
Maybe Dennis Quaid could be the new Texas president in the footsteps of Ronal Reagan, Clint Eastwood and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I am a native Texan and personally I think it’s one of the silliest things I’ve ever heard. Next thing you know, we’ll be trying to take over Mexico too!
